Homes under the hammer in September

Town and family houses and buy-to-let opportunities are among the stand out lots at Sheldon Bosley Knight’s September 2025 auction.

A total of seven lots are available at the sale at Stratford-upon-Avon town hall on Wednesday, September 10.

Two properties on Avenue Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, numbers 3a and 3b, are sure to attract a great deal of interest.

Number 3a is a four-bedroom house while 3b is a three-bedroom house. These three-storey town houses, on one of the town’s most sought-after roads, offer spacious accommodation and off-street parking. With guide prices of £375,000 and £275,000 respectively, these properties are unlikely to hang around.

For those looking for a slice of village life, there are properties in the Leicestershire village of Tugby and Worcestershire village of Pinvin.

In Tugby, the two-bedroom property, named The Cottage, has been refurbished to a high standard but retains its character and charm. It has a guide price of £200,000 and would make a great first time buy.

In Pinvin, the three-bedroom semi with parking is an ideal family home or investment opportunity. It has a guide price of £200,000.

Elsewhere in the sale, a three-bedroom, mid-terraced home in Nuneaton is on offer with a guide price of £95,000. It has a front and back garden, as well as kitchen, two reception rooms and an upstairs bathroom.

With a healthy yield and a tenant in situ this would make a great buy-to-let purchase.

Sheldon Bosley Knight’s auctioneer, Jessica Lewis said: “We have some cracking lots in this auction and unsurprisingly have had a great deal of interest so it promises to be a very exciting sale.

“For anyone who would like to attend and bid on the night or who would like more information on the lots available, please call the team on 01789 867123.”

Really wonderful experience. All the staff have been incredibly helpful throughout, especially Will, and have made us feel informed but calm throughout the entire auction process. We can't wait to move into our new home.

I can’t thank Will Glendening enough, he is charged with representing the vendors by his employers ,quite rightly so. In our recent purchase through post auction process he did exactly that, but also as the purchasers we will always be greatful for his professional, honest and straight forward help and advise in enabling my wife and I to secure the property. Thank you Will !!!!!
